Diphenidine is a novel dissociative substance of the diarylethylamine class that produces dissociative and hallucinogenic effects when administered. It is structurally related to methoxphenidine and ephenidine. Diphenidine is also known as 1,2-DEP, DPD and DND. Diphenidine is a dissociative anaesthetic comparable to NMDA antagonists such as 4-MeO-PCP and Ketamine.
